We have added a drive, comprised of a second set of wheels with axle, sprockets and chain, controlled by the electronics. The electronics include a heavier battery, a larger solar panel, and a microprocessor triggered by micro switches for auto reverse. New from Front yard coop: The Front Yard Coop Automated door. Manufactured from galvanized steel, spot welded and 1/8th “ aluminum plate door. These doors, like all our products, are both esthetically and functionally well designed, they are made to last. Designed for the ultimate in reliability and peace of mind they do not depend on a door being raised and lowered by a string, triggered by a bunch of externally mounted, sure to fail, switches. Our door features a unique linear actuator (an extending solid shaft) that is controlled by a circuit board and an astronomic timer. This timer is self-setting with regard to the time, and if you choose sunset and sunrise to close/open your door it automatically adjusts each day to keep those settings accurate. _The linear actuator will stop mid motion if it encounters an obstruction.(like a chicken). _Overall size is 13 ¾” w x 42” h, the door opening is 11 ¾” w x 17” h _These are simple to install, we supply templates for both the inner and outer cuts and detailed instructions. _Our FYC auto door is preset at the factory for either 12 v solar or 120 outlet electric. |
